The Things We Notice

Will these still be around in, oh say, ten years?  I think probably not.  Our means of communicating is changing rapidly.  What has this to do with birds you might ask?  Think carrier pigeons.

Every once in a while, someone will mail me a single popcorn kernel that didn't pop. I'll get out a fresh kernel, tape it to a piece of paper and mail it back to them.
